Sim-Mech exhibited FlightPod GA at FSWeekend 2026 in Lelystad, joining simulator developers, hardware manufacturers, cockpit builders and flight simulation enthusiasts from across Europe.
Throughout the weekend, booth 17B became a meeting point for conversations about affordable procedural training, modular cockpit design and the role of simulation beyond entertainment. Visitors could see the FlightPod platform at close range and discuss how the same core architecture can support different aircraft, avionics configurations and visual systems.
Listening to the simulator community
The event also gave us an opportunity to reconnect with existing contacts and establish new relationships across the simulator industry. Feedback from pilots, training organisations and experienced home cockpit builders provided useful perspectives as FlightPod continues its transition towards professional training applications.
