The Honeycomb Dual Console combines commercial controls, touch displays and tactile avionics input in a configurable FlightPod cockpit.

For organisations that want to begin training quickly, the Honeycomb Dual Console is the most direct route into the FlightPod platform. It combines proven commercial controls with our modular structure and supports aircraft ranging from single-engine trainers to multi-engine turboprops and business aircraft.

Touch displays with tactile control

Three high-quality multi-touch displays support pop-out panels and software instruments, including both analogue and glass-cockpit layouts. Integrated dimming allows the displays to form part of a coherent cockpit lighting environment.

For functions that benefit from physical controls, the Octavi IFR-1 integrates with the touch displays and provides dedicated access to radios, navigation, heading, altitude and autopilot functions. The console also includes a parking brake handle, fuel selector and heavy-duty spring-loaded switches for trim or cowl-flap operation.

A practical entry point

This combination makes the console suitable for flight schools, flying clubs, demonstration centres and organisations evaluating simulator-based proficiency work. Configurations can evolve as training needs change, without replacing the complete cockpit.
